The true, but little known story of Red Cloud's War, along the Bozeman Trail in Montana in 1868.

Had it not been for Custer's defeat at the hands of the Sioux, the story of The Bozeman Trail and The Fettertman Massacre would be known to every American today as one of our worst military disasters. While it was a defeat for the U.S. Cavalry, it was a victory for all the Native Americans. When the peace treaties were signed, the forts along the trail had to be abandoned and Red Cloud became the only Chief to win a war with the United States.

Bob from Colorado - 26 May 2004
This show is about a much lesser known event in history, Red Cloud's war. However, it is a story definately worth the telling. Living in the heart of the wild west (Colorado), I am particularly interested in this style of program. You will love the story, the battles and the drama. I found this to be great entertainment.
