Join former lawman turned rancher Britt MacMasters and his son Chad as they begin a new life for themselves in Clearmont, Wyoming ... but Britt's past returns to haunt him, as one of the toughest outlaw gangs in the west is headed towards Clearmont for revenge!

Powder River is performed in the style of a classic old time radio show, not dissimilar to the Six Shooter, but the production quality is very much in the 21st century with crystal clear stereo sound, masterful use of sound effects, and a completely original music score.

Each episode is a story in its own right so the episodes can be listened to individually, but we'd recommend you start at episode 1 and work your way through them consecutively to get the maximum enjoyment.

In this first episode, a Preacher arrives in Clearmont and Britt is suspicious.

Just happened upon this new series on Spoken Network. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It harkens back to the era of the classic radio westerns like Gunsmoke and Have Gun Will Travel. I can't wait to download the rest of the series!
Thoroughly enjoyed the whole series

If you like old time radio westerns you are sure to like this series as it is very much in the style of classic shows such as The Six Shooter. The recording quality is absolutely first-class. I've listened to all 15 and my only regret is that there aren't dozens more to listen to - yet! Hopefully, it won't be long before Colonial put out some more.

McCarthy's tale of his hilarious trip around Ireland has gained thousands of fans all over the world.

Pete was born in Warrington to an Irish mother and an English father and spent happy summer holidays in Cork. Years later, reflecting on the many places he has visited as a travel broadcaster, Pete admits that he feels more at home in Ireland than anywhere. To find out whether this is due to rose-coloured spectacles or to a deeper tie with the country of his ancestors, Pete sets off on a trip around Ireland and discovers that it has changed in surprising ways.
